You've still got time to register for the MERLOT 2007 Conference in New Orleans, which is 8/7-8/10.

The 23rd Annual Conference on Distance Teaching and Learning will be held 8/8-8/10 in Madison, WI.

The E-Learning Guild is offering Advanced e-Learning Instructional Design: New Techniques and Strategies in an Online Workshop on 8/16-8/17.

The Sixth International Internet Education Conference (ICT-Learn 2007) will be held September 2-4 in Cairo, Egypt.

The Designs on E-learing Conference, Learning and Teaching with Technology in Art Design and Communication wil be held September 13-14th at the University of the Arts London IT Research & Development Unit (ITRDU)

The 13th Annual Sloan Consortium Conference is coming up in November in Orlando, FL.

as one of the participants at the 2006 Jisc online conference, we thought you might be interested in the 2007 conference, Innovating e-Learning 2007 - Institutional Transformation and Supporting Lifelong Learning, 11 - 14 June 2007

This second conference focuses on the potential of e-learning in transforming practice within institutions and in supporting lifelong learning. The keynote presenters will offer a rich variety of perspectives on these themes:

Theme 1: Institutional transformation Day 1: Terry Mayes, Emeritus Professor, Glasgow Caledonian University, and Day 2: Dr John Guy, Principal, and Dr Mike Docker, Director, ICLT, the Sixth Form College, Farnborough

Theme 2: Supporting Lifelong Learning, introduced by Robin Mason, Professor of Educational Technology at The Institute of Educational Technology, The Open University

The concluding presentation will be given by Oleg Liber, Professor of e-Learning and Director of the Research Centre for Educational Technology and Interoperability Standards (CETIS), University of Bolton.

As well as these keynote presenters, there is a very large number of other sessions and presentations, making up what we hope is an exciting and useful programme. The full programme (and booking

As last year, the conference will be open for a week for pre-conference reading, from the 4th June. The conference itself will run from 11-14 June and will then remain open for viewing for a full month, until 15 July.

JISC Conference 2007

I attended JISC's 2006 Conference last spring, and I really learned a lot. It was nice to be at a conference meeting that was not school specific and didn't have the sorts of pressures that job retreats do. I highly encourage folks to sign up and enjoy this year's conference if you are in Birmingham (it looks as if this year's conference is on-site only). Illinois Online Conference Call for Presentation Proposals

This year the Curriculum, Technology, and Education Reform (CTER) Online Master of Education Program from the University of Illinois will feature a hybrid conference live from the University of Illinois in Champaign and through the IOC community. Presenters and participants online will be given access to both the IOC and CTER conferences.

This conference - which is attended by participants from all across the globe - is held entirely on the Internet using: live virtual classrooms, recorded presentations, email, web poster sessions, synchronous chats, discussion areas, and other Internet technologies. IOC was created to focus on issues and concerns of K-20 classroom faculty and related technology support, learning resources, student services, and workforce development professionals.

IOC 2007 takes place in a LearningTimes Online Conference Community - an online environment in which groups of participants, both small and large, gather electronically to learn, collaborate and network.
